New Website
Welcome to the redesigned Super X Studios website! Our goal is to enable us to put out more information on a regular basis, including:
- Articles about game design, game programming, and running an independent studio
- News and previews of our games in development
- Interesting game and science related articles and posts
I’ve been designing and developing games for 13 years now, so if you have any questions or topic suggestions, feel free to post in the comments below.
Check out out project pages to learn about our previous games, including the recently released Greg Hastings Paintball 2.
FYI, we’re also now on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
I downloaded desktop dreamscapes from the major geeks site.I entered the registration code and the username”free”.On doing this,I get a message saying that I must download the full version.I think I have done this {the site is confusing} but I can only run the demo version. The demo version is amazing, but would like to access all 10 scenes, something I can’t do at present.I am running XP service pack3 with a decent graphics card.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Our apologies – apparently our new web server is case-sensitive with URLs, which has broken that link. Try this one:
http://www.superxstudios.com/Files/DD/DesktopDreamscapesVol1-AddlFiles.exe
We’re looking into how to fix the problem site-wide but for now that link should work to get the full files for Desktop Dreamscapes.
Cheers,
James
We fixed the original link, so you can get the file at:
http://www.superxstudios.com/files/dd/DesktopDreamscapesVol1-AddlFiles.exe
which is where the program will look for it when it tries to download the additional files.

Just installed Desktop Dreamscape. Very cool and refreshing change. One drawback though, I run Dual monitors in extended mode and can only experience the program on Monitor 1. It would have been awesome if the scenes spread across both like some do. Perhaps there is a setting I am missing? Thanks for sharing!
Unfortunately no, Desktop Dreamscapes only runs on one monitor, although it should black out the other monitors when the screensaver mode activates.
